JCSU Men's Tennis Moves Up in Rankings

The Johnson C. Smith University Golden Bulls men's tennis team has received one of its highest rankings ever, moving to number 15 in the rugged East Region of the NCAA. The NCAA has four regions; East, South, West and Midwest.

The East Region stretches from Maine to South Carolina and includes the Carolinas Virginia Athletic Conference, CIAA, South Atlantic Conference, West Virginia Athletic Conference and the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, among others.

The number one doubles team of Christopher Lee and Michael White is ranked 11th in the East Region.

The team (3-2) returns to action in the Dillard Mardi Gras Invitational Tournament in New Orleans February 7-10, 2002.
