Player of the Week
Pria Stellmacher-Virginia Union, 5’5”, SR, Guard, Suitland, MD
In three games this week, Stellmacher averaged 18.3 points, 7 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.6 steals and was named to the All-Tournament team of the Kennesaw State Classic. Stellmacher’s best outing of the week came in a 60-58 loss to Georgia College where she scored 21 points to go along with 8 assists, 6 rebounds and 3 steals for the Lady Panthers, who finished 2-1 in the tournament.

Rookie of the Week
Shemika Jones-Johnson C. Smith University, 5’7”, FR, Guard, Largo, MD
Jones scored 17 points and added four rebounds, two steals and one assists in the Golden Bulls 103-45 rout of Allen University.

Coach of the Week
John Williams-Winston-Salem State University
With wins over Wingate University, Clark-Atlanta University, and Paine College this week, Williams and the Lady Rams are in the midst of a five game winning streak and at 5-1, are off to their best start since 2000-01.
