Offensive Lineman
Nigel Depreiza - Bowie State, OT, 6'2, 295, SR, Stafford, VA
Depreiza helped control the line of scrimmage, paving the way for the Bulldogs to amass 503 yards of total offense and four touchdowns in a ,40-21, win over Fayetteville State.

Receiver
Damon Thompson - Virginia State, WR, 6'0, 182, JR, Richmond, VA
Thompson proved his skills once again, catching 11 receptions for 257 yards and two touchdowns to set a new school record. He also set a new CIAA single game reception yards record which was held by North Carolina Central’s, Robert Clark (254).

Offensive Back
Antonio Hawkins - Virginia State, QB, 6'3, 220, JR, Richmond, VA
Hawkins led the Trojans, completing 19 of 36 passes for 365 yards and four touchdowns. The Trojans accumulated 404 total offensive yards in the loss to Virginia Union, 31-27.

Defensive Lineman
Lee Best - Bowie State, LB, 5'9, 240, JR, Landover, MD
On Homecoming day against Fayetteville State, Best registered nine total tackles (4 solo, 5 assisted), including one tackle for a loss of two yards and had two fumble recoveries as the Bulldogs defeated the Broncos, 40-21.

Defensive Back
DeRon Alexander - Winston-Salem State, DB, 6'0, 193, SR, Charlotte, NC
Alexander led the defensive charge with five solo tackles, one interception, and one pass break-up as the Rams defeated Johnson C. Smith, 25-6, to win their Homecoming.

Rookie
Terrance Wilson - Fayetteville State, OLB, 6'0, 215, FR, New Bern, NC
In Saturday’s game against Bowie State, Wilson racked up 10 total tackles (4 solo, 6 assisted), including one tackle for a loss of two yards as the Broncos fell to the Bulldogs, 40-21.

Speciality
Stephen Brooks - Fayetteville State, WR, 5'7, 165, SO, Gastonia, NC
Brooks was all over the field, returning five kickoff returns for 133 yards and one punt return for 13 yards for a total of 146 all-purpose yards in Saturday’s game.

Coach
Willard Bailey - Virginia Union
Coach Bailey led the Panthers to a ,31-27, victory over Virginia State to spoil their Homecoming day. The Panthers are second in the conference with a record of (4-1,6-2).
